Meet Coleman

Coleman is a nonprofit founder and community organizer running for City Council in Fayetteville’s Ward 1. A seventh-generation Arkansan born in this city, he has witnessed the transformation of Northwest Arkansas in his lifetime. After serving as Student Body President at the University of Arkansas, he studied at the University of Oxford as a Truman and Rhodes Scholar. Upon moving home, he was struck by how unaffordable Fayetteville had become. Coleman believes that our city government can meet the challenge of rising costs, and we must work together to welcome everyone to our beloved community. He is committed to listening, learning, and doing everything possible to lower your cost of living.

In his free time, Coleman loves to spend time with his family, make music, and run along Fayetteville’s beautiful trails.
